Bio:

Ilyana Petrovna is the wild-eyed daughter of Alexa Casterwell, a recent widow from Ustalav now residing in Kaer Maga. She and her sibling brothers, Kiev and Dmitri, grew up in the Bottoms district of the Asylum Stone, where Alexa hoped their father’s family influence would not reach them. As the only female child, Ilya would quite often be sheltered behind closed wooden doors and/or constantly watched over by her protective mother or older brothers. Ever the curious one about the exciting world around her, she would find ways to explore and venture out on her own and back somehow with no one the better to notice her gone. That is until one dark stormy night when she was “touched” by the elemental lords where a bargained made a long time ago between her mother and these mysterious benefactors came to pass.

Unknown to her children, a young and yet capable sorceress, Alexa had made a pact with four elemental lords disguised as “sages” to help hide her family away from her late husband’s relatives who were hunting them down. In return for their services however, they would each take a part of her children’s life spent in servitude in their respective domain. Desperate and scared out of her wits, she reluctantly agreed. She fled Ustalav the next day with her children in tow.

When that fatefull time finally arrived and the elemental lords came to visit and collect the first born child Kiev, Ilya impulsively stepped in to intervene and volunteered herself in his stead to everyone’s surprise. With one condition to leave the rest of her family alone, she somehow convinced the visitors to take her away. For some unfathomable reason, the elemental lords agreed and claimed Ilya before the others of her family had a chance to object their concerns.

Four years later, Ilya returned to Kaer Maga changed. She took the name Jinx and reunited with her family. Despite their waryness at first and the barrage of questions, she dismissed them easily enough with tales of her capture and the wonders that she saw during her time away. Just happy to have her daughter back, Alexa took to heart everything is well, wishing to bury the past now that her family is complete again. Although, a few days later, Alexa decided to visit the Seers of Pharasma. She did not want to try her luck with the Harrow readings nor the troll augurs with their gruesome techniques. While at the temple, she inquired about Jinx situation and was told to bring the child to them and they will take care of it. When next she visited the Seers with Jinx, she was told that Jinx will have to stay with them indefinitely and she will be informed of her welfare.

To this day Jinx is still with the Pharasmins and has acquired a scarlet spider she calls Voodoo that nests on top of her head. She has learned a few tricks that the Seers were interested in and met several people that visited the temple. Then one day, something from her waking dreams told her to seek the graves below the temple and drink the secrets that lay hidden for many, many years. That same evening she found herself wandering the halls of the Godsmouth Ossuary communing with Voodoo. Portents via whispers at nights still haunts her of "poor, poor, poor Professor Lorrimore. She knows not from who or from where they come but they come, they always come.
